LONGEVITY LENS / BIOMARKERS

Measure less. Understand more.

Biomarkers become useful when they are repeatable, interpretable and connected to action. A larger dashboard is not automatically a better health strategy.

WHAT TO LOOK FOR

Four questions
that sharpen the brief.

01

Cardiometabolic

Blood pressure, glucose regulation and lipid-related risk are foundational domains in preventive medicine.

02

Performance

VO₂max, strength, mobility and body composition can add a functional view of health when measured consistently.

03

Sleep & recovery

Wearables can identify patterns, but they do not replace a clinical sleep assessment when a sleep disorder is suspected.

04

Emerging markers

Epigenetic clocks, glycan-based age measures and other proprietary scores are research-adjacent tools. Treat them as supplementary, not definitive.

ADRIATIC LONGEVITY / BIOMARKERS

Biomarkers become useful when they are repeatable, interpretable and connected to action. A larger dashboard is not automatically a better health strategy.

Editorial boundary
